Adam Sandler grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire.
He performed at the tender age of seventeen in a Boston comedy club.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New York University in 1991.
He was Smitty on The Cosby Show during this period. Dennis Miller helped him get on the
Saturday Night Live
show.
His first comedy album was called, "They’re All Gonna Laugh At You!"
He did a few small movies and then did his first really big hit "Billy Madison",
about a rich kid who goes back to grades one through twelve. He has to complete them in six months in order to earn his inheritance.
He then did another album called "What the Hell Happened to Me?", with the

song.
After that, Sandler starred in "Happy Gilmore" and "Bulletproof". His next movies were "The Wedding Singer" and "The
Waterboy". He then did "Big Daddy" and became a big daddy in the acting world.
"Mr. Deeds" was his next big movie followed by "8 Crazy Nights" and "Punch-Drunk Love".
He did the movie "Anger Management" with Jack
Nicholson. In 2004, he did the movie "50 First Dates".
